Louisiana Lottery Corporation is Hiring a Compliance Coordinator Near Baton Rouge, LA

This position report to the Vice President of Security.It coordinates the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's (LLC) regulatory compliance program with primary responsibility for ADA compliance.Develops and implements procedures to conduct ADA surveys for retailers selling LLC products. Works with Retailer Licensing, Sales and Security staff to ensure adherence to processes and responsibilities.Performs other compliance/regulatory duties as assigned.

In conjunction with the VP of Security, develop and implement the ADA compliance process.This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating documents and records management (in accordance with LLC Records Retention requirements), tracking and follow-up on compliance processes as related to either new retailer licensing or re-licensing compliance inspections, and monitoring work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

Coordinate the process to conduct Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliance reviews for retailers selling Louisiana Lottery products in order to ensure that retail facilities are in compliance with established ADA guidelines. This includes, on-site reviews of current and prospective lottery retailers to ensure ADA compliance relating to ADA Title II accessibility, as well as tracking, monitoring and reporting on the adherence to retailer licensing requirements.

Regularly communicate with retailers and potential retailers in regards to ADA regulations.Provide support, assistance and education to retailers throughout the ADA process. Prepare correspondence, including letters and email communications, and coordinate dissemination.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulations pertaining to the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II) as administered by the Department of Justice.Maintain knowledge and ensure LLC adherence to Title II as it applies to the operations of the LLC.

Perform other regulatory compliance duties as assigned.Such duties may include ticket stock control, under age player education and prevention, assistance with Lottery investigations, and review of retailers to ensure adherence to LLC retailer regulations.Provide support and assistance in other areas of the Security Department as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school with an emphasis in Criminal Justice or a closely related area of study.At least three years’ experience in a security-related role, i.e. with a federal, state or local law enforcement agency or a corporate entity, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.Knowledge of applicable laws; specific investigative experience involving gambling/gaming or retail operations is preferred.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.

Good verbal and written communication skills required.Ability to explain lottery laws and regulations to retailers, players, employees and the public.Ability to prepare clear, accurate and complete reports and records; proficient in the use of MS Office applications (word processing and spreadsheet applications).

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, regulations, correspondence, and memos.Ability to communicate daily with retailers, supervisor, and the general public.Ability to compose appropriate business correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to retailers, players, vendors, interested parties, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

A valid Louisiana driver’s license with good driving record.
